NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT 2019 (SECTION 889)

Network cameras from IndiNatus® conform to the guidelines set by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), 2019, and do not use components made by the listed prohibited manufacturers.

NDAA is one of the series of United States federal laws stating and regulating the budget of the United States Department of Defense. In 2019, Section 899 of NDAA was implemented which prohibits the US federal government, government contractors, and grant and loan recipients from purchasing telecommunication equipment from specified Chinese companies and their subsidiaries.

Accordingly, in some cases, IndiNatus® continues to offer surveillance equipment that incorporates Huawei (HiSilicon) Systems on a Chip. If your organization has concerns about surveillance equipment that incorporates Huawei (HiSilicon) SOCs, we can provide a list of IndiNatus® products that do not incorporate such components for your consideration.
